A. Peopleminer.com is an efficient, paperless integrated web based tool designed to track, test, rank, and authenticate job applicants and notify them of the status of their application with a minimum of interruption to your workday. It can be used by any size business and access to the information can be controlled by the administrator.
Q. Why use PeopleMiner.com?
A. Most job application forms contain all the same information. All that differs is formatting. One of the advantages to a uniformly formatted application is that, if you have to view several, it is easy to find the information on each application you view, because it is always in the same place. You can also view the application in resume format.
Besides the ease of accepting job applications on the web, PeopleMiner.com has tools to help you track and correspond with applicants, as well as a powerful evaluation tool, “T.E.S.T.” that can help you select the applicant you want easily.
Q. Why not just use regular paper copies of job application forms?
A. There are several good reasons. Aside from the obvious reasons of finding one that meets legal standards, you must have enough on hand to give out. Applicants don‘t have to travel to your company to get them, or wait for you to mail them. Once returned, you must keep track of them. Many applicant’s handwriting may be illegible and that takes time trying to decipher.
If you use PeopleMiner.com all you have to do is post your job and advise the applicant to go to PeopleApp.com and enter your company code which is your 10 digit phone number. If you advertise positions you can put this number in your ad.
Computerized forms are always available. If applicants do not have computers, most libraries provide computer access.
You can attract more applicants if they feel they can take their time to fill out an online application. You can filter applications according to criteria you decide and this helps you put the best qualified applicants at the top of your list. Q. How does an applicant get to my job application site?
A. Applicants go to PeopleApp.com which is the applicant’s site. They are asked enter your company code which is your 10 digit phone number. This brings them to your job postings as well as other information you have provided for their interest. They can also use a Keyword search to find your company or job postings that have the keyword in the summary. They then have the opportunity to fill out an application and send it to you for consideration.

A. Your code is your 10 digit phone number. There are other codes available if you have positions open in more than one location.
Q. What’s the difference between PeopleMiner.com and PeopleApp.com?
A. PeopleMiner.com is a business web site where you control all the HR functions provided at this time. There are many other tools provided for your business and this provides anonymity and security for you.
PeopleApp.com is a job application web site where you can post positions you have available, and draw from a database of applicants you may not otherwise have reached with normal job “Help wanted” ads.
Q. Do I have to store my data with PeopleMiner.com?
A. No. You can elect to delete any applications received or save them as you see fit. The advantage of storage on PeopleMiner.com is that you can view it from any web connected computer and also can provide access codes for others in your company that may need to see applications as well.
Q. After I receive an application from someone can data on it be changed?
A. No. Once an applicant submits the form, the changes can no longer be made to the form. This protects both you and the applicant. Applicants can resubmit a new form if changes need to be made. You can then delete the previous form and save the latest version. If necessary, make a paper copy of the first application submitted, or save it to view and compare with the earlier version.
Q. Who can view the job application or other information on the PeopleMiner.com site?
A. If you are the administrator, you can create and assign a login and password to any other administrator or manager that you deem necessary to view the application. Access levels vary.

Q. How long do the job application forms stay on line?
A. This is your choice. You can keep them on indefinitely as long as you subscribe to the service or delete them as you see fit.
Q. Can I print job application forms?
A. Yes. Both you and the applicant can make copies as needed.
Q. How will I know the status of job applications received?
A. Employers track the status of each application they receive. You can categorize them by parameters you select. You can pre-qualify applicants to reduce the number of un-qualified applicants. If you wish to communicate with an applicant for any reason, you can reach them through the “Message Center.” If you decline to hire a particular applicant, a rejection status is automatically generated on the PeopleApp.com website. If you are undecided about an applicant, they can check on the status of their application by visiting the PeopleApp.com website and checking the current status of their particular application. This means less unnecessary contact with applicants.
Q. If the website is going down for service, how will I know?
A. If the PeopleMiner.com site needs to go down for service a countdown clock with the message that the website is going down will pop up on any page you are working on. It will give you 30 minutes to finish whatever task you are working on.
Q. If the website is currently down, how will I know?
A. If the PeopleMiner.com site is currently down for service, the Home page will present a message that says the server is temporarily down.
Q. How long will the server be down?
A. This time can vary and will be determined by the type of maintenance being conducted. Rest assured that we will make every attempt to maintain equipment on a schedule that will not interfere with the majority of our client base and will go back on line as quickly as possible.
